BEFORE USING THE GRIDDLE
INSTALLATION - TECHNICAL INFORMATION FOR THE
INSTALLER
• To make the most of your new appliance, please
read the user instructions carefully and keep
them to handy for future consultation.
•
Make sure that the appliance is installed and connected to the
electricity supply by a qualified technician in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions and in compliance with local
regulations.
•
Before installation, please read these few hints:
•
The cooktop must be installed into a worktop 30 to 40 mm thick and
600 mm deep.
•
The distance between the lower face of the cooktop and any
cupboard or separating panel must be of at least 30 mm.
•
If the cooktop is to be installed next to a column unit, leave a
distance of at least 300 mm.
•
If a hood or a cupboard is installed above the cooktop, leave a
minimum distance of 650 mm.
•
The coatings of the walls of the unit or appliances near the cooktop
must be heat resistant (150°C).
•
Do not install the cooktop near flammable materials (e.g.: curtains).
•
The rear wall must be at least 50mm from the ceramic griddle and
must withstand a temperature of 150°C.
Installation
•
Cut an opening in the worktop of the dimensions shown in the
Product Description Sheet supplied separately.
•
Stretch gasket
(D)
over the edge of the hole made being careful to
overlay the junction edges.
•
Turn the cooktop upside down and put tabs

into the seats
provided, tightening screws
(B)
a few turns.
•
Please make sure that the tabs are correctly positioned as illustrated.
•
Position the cooktop into the housing.
•
Put tabs
(A)
into place; tooth
(C)
of the tabs should fit into the hole.
•
Tighten screw
(B)
until the cooktop is completely secured.
•
Cut off the gasket
(D)
protruding from the cooktop with a sharp tool.
