INSTALLATION

CONNECTION TO THE GAS SUPPLY

The cooking range is supplied ready to function with

the gas indicated on the appliance by means of a

label. It may sometimes be necessary to change from

one type of gas to another! Proceed as follows,

whatever the cooker gas type:

Operations to be performed:

1) connect the cooker to the gas mains;

2) replace the nozzles;

3) adjust the air intake;

4) adjust the flow rate.

CONNECTION TO THE GAS MAINS

The connection is made at the back of the cooker, on

the left or right-hand side (Fig. 3) so that the gas pipe

does not cross the rear of the appliance.

Accessories and fittings are supplied in a bag together

with the cooker.

The unused (left or right) coupling and its gasket must

be shut off.

For gas supplied through a mains pipe

The connection may be made by:

— a rigid metal pipe and nut.

— a flexible corrugated metal pipe in compliance

with the regulations in force (Fig. 4).

— a flexible metal tube with nuts in compliance with

the regulations in force. This tube must be

replaced before its expiry date (Fig. 5).

Connecting rigid metal pipes must not apply stress to

the cooker manifold.
