HOW TO USE THE HIGH-SPEED HOTPLATE

HIGH-SPEED HOTPLATE

This hotplate can be used to start cooking very quickly.

Note: The yellow indicator light remains on all the time the hotplate is on.

Position the control knob as required:

1. For cooking and reheating: position “5” or “6”.

2. For roasting: position “4”.

3. To finish cooking: position “2” or “3”.

4. To finish cooking and keeping food warm: position “1”.

5. To switch off: position “0”.

Turn the knob to a higher or lower position, as necessary.

For delicate foods, it is best to reduce the temperature.

ENERGY SAVING

RECOMMENDATIONS

To save energy, make use of the residual heat. To do

so, position the knob on “0” for the last 5-10 minutes

of the cooking or roasting time.

RECOMMENDATIONS ON COOKING

UTENSILS

Use pans specifically designed for electric hobs,

with a very flat, heavy base. For example, pans with

turned heavy bases are ideal.

Pans with bottoms that are not flat mean longer

cooking times and consequently greater energy

consumption.

Thepanmustbethesamesizeasthehotplate,or

slightly larger.

Always cover pans with lids to save energy.

Do not place damp or steamy lids on the hob.

Place the pan on the hotplate before you switch it

on.

Avoid idle operation (without pots).
