INSTALLATION
Gas connection with pipe fitting
The fitting assembly (Fig. 6) consists of a fitting “B” for G 30/G 31,
a fitting “C” for G 20 and a gasket “D”.
Natural gas G 20
The connection is by a flexible pipe, a gas fitting “C” and a gasket
“D” (Fig. 6).
Thepipemusthaveaninternaldiameterof15mm,andbe
sufficiently tightened to be kept in place by the pipe clamp (not
supplied). This pipe must be replaced before its expiry date.
Liquid Gas G 30/G 31
Connection is by fitting “B” and gasket “D” withaflexiblepipe
with 6 mm internal diameter, and suitable for gas supply from a gas
cylinder or tank (Fig. 6).
IMPORTANT!
Always replace the pipe before its expiry date.
Use two spanners to remove the fitting (Fig. 7).
When tightening, use a normal torque value not exceeding 2.5
N/m (Kgf/m) as a precautionary measure.
Keep the rubber pipe as short as possible, with no loops or
twists.
After connection, check the coupling tightness with a soapy
solution, but never with a naked flame.
